Allstar Cargo’s Speedway Series is three named race trailer packages, built in our Douglas, GA shop, and delivered nationwide. Every Speedway build starts on the same premium foundation — Semi-Screwless .080 Polycore exterior, torsion spread axles, 60″ triple-tube tongue, race package, escape door, 50-amp electrical, and a finished interior. The three tiers — Qualifier, Velocity, and Platinum — add progressively more amenities, axle capacity, lighting, and finish.
This page compares all three side-by-side, breaks down what each tier adds, and helps you decide which Speedway Series package fits your racing. Not sure what size to pick? See our race trailer size guide — every Speedway build is available in 8.5×24, 8.5×28, and 8.5×32 lengths.

What All Three Speedway Series Builds Share
Before getting into what separates each tier, here’s the foundation every Speedway Series race trailer ships with. These are the features that make all three real race trailers, not just dressed-up cargo trailers:
- Semi-Screwless .080 Polycore exterior — premium aluminum skin that resists dents and panel waviness.
- Rear spoiler with 12V loading lights — integrated pit-setup lighting.
- Spread axles with Corvette fenders — premium race trailer stance and stability at highway speed.
- 60″ triple-tube tongue (TTT) — reinforced for high-mileage towing.
- Electric jack — set-and-forget hitch height.
- Race package — pre-fitted for race-specific cargo handling.
- 60×78″ double side door + escape door — get around a parked race car without backing it off the trailer.
- Mousehole & winch plate base cabinet — winch the car forward into the V-nose cabinet for clean loading.
- RTP ramp & flap — rubber tread plate ramp surface.
- White metal walls & ceiling — finished interior look.
- (2) rows of floor E-track + aluminum holdbacks — proper tie-downs.
- 50-amp twistlock cord + marine batteries + ceiling and wall insulation — full electrical and climate foundation.
- (3) 110V receptacles + exterior GFI + (3) 110V flat panel lights + (8) 12V LED strip lights + LED dual taillights — full lighting and outlet package.
The Qualifier — Entry-Level Premium
The Qualifier is the entry to the Speedway Series. Every premium foundational feature listed above, plus 5,200 lb torsion spread axles, a 7′ interior, and a 15K rooftop A/C with wall thermostat. It’s the right tier for racers stepping up from a basic enclosed cargo trailer into a real race-purpose-built rig, for one-car drag/asphalt/dirt setups, and for racers who want the premium build without the full race-weekend amenity package.

The Velocity — Mid-Tier Premium (Most Popular)
The Velocity is what most serious racers actually need — and the package we sell the most of. It’s everything the Qualifier offers, upgraded to 7,000 lb torsion spread axles, 7′6″ interior height, and SpiderMag wheels — plus the additions that change how you live at the track: generator box on tongue, electric awning, 5,000 lb winch, toolbox, bogey wheels, recessed tire compartment, wide entry ramp, double spring assist, double ramp handles, cast corners, colored cove trim, and optional 2-tone exterior.
If you race at remote tracks without reliable shore power, the generator box alone justifies the Velocity tier. If you race in summer heat, the electric awning earns its keep. If you load heavier than a basic race build, the 7,000 lb axles give you real GVWR headroom.
The Platinum — Flagship Premium
The Platinum is the top of the lineup and the natural pairing for observation deck builds, full race teams, and hospitality-focused racers. Everything Velocity has, plus mini-split A/C, recessed winch, ATP wheel well, optional half-carpet wall, 2′ closet over toolbox, TV between cabinets, radio with interior + exterior speakers, 12V puck lights in the floor, 12V motion lights in the stepwell and rear wheel well, (4) cabinet lights, 12V rope lights with remote, and a Caliber Protec floor.
This is the trailer that makes a race weekend feel like a destination. Pair an 8.5×32 Platinum with an observation deck for the full pit-setup-plus-viewing-platform experience.
How to Pick the Right Speedway Series Tier
Start with what you actually do at the track:
- Pick the Qualifier if you tow with a 3/4-ton, you race a single light-to-medium-weight car, you usually have shore power at the track, and you’d rather start with the essentials and add upgrades over time.
- Pick the Velocity if you race at remote tracks (where the generator earns its keep), you carry full pit gear and a loaded race build (where the 7,000 lb axles earn theirs), or you spend full weekends at the track and the electric awning + toolbox + taller interior + finished setup actually get used.
- Pick the Platinum if you want the full hospitality experience — TV, radio, finished interior, premium lighting throughout, mini-split A/C, Caliber Protec floor — or if the trailer is part of the team’s identity at the track, or if you’re building toward an observation deck setup.
If you’re between two tiers, go up. The Velocity is the better long-term value for most serious racers; the Platinum is the better long-term value if you race more than a few weekends a year and want the trailer to feel like a destination. Once you’ve picked your tier, use our race trailer size guide to choose between 24′, 28′, and 32′.

Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between Qualifier, Velocity, and Platinum?
All three start on the same .080 Polycore foundation with torsion spread axles, race package, escape door, 50-amp electrical, and finished interior. The Qualifier is the entry tier — 5,200 lb axles, 7′ interior, 15K rooftop A/C. The Velocity is the mid-tier — 7,000 lb axles, 7′6″ interior, generator box, electric awning, SpiderMag wheels, toolbox, winch, bogey wheels, cast corners, and the full race-weekend feature set. The Platinum is the flagship — mini-split A/C, recessed winch, finished interior with TV/radio, motion and cabinet lighting, Caliber Protec floor.
Which Speedway Series package is the most popular?
The Velocity, by a margin. It’s the package that covers the full race weekend — generator box, electric awning, 7,000 lb axles for real GVWR headroom, taller interior, premium wheels — without going all the way to the Platinum’s hospitality and flagship-finish package. Most serious one-car and small-team racers land on the Velocity.
What sizes are the Speedway Series race trailers available in?
All three tiers — Qualifier, Velocity, and Platinum — are built on the 8.5-wide chassis in three lengths: 8.5×24, 8.5×28, and 8.5×32. The 8.5×24 is the most popular size overall; 8.5×28 is common for multi-driver or side-by-side teams and observation deck builds; 8.5×32 is the flagship length, typically on triple-axle suspension. See our race trailer size guide to pick.
Can I customize a Speedway Series build with non-standard options?
Yes. Every Speedway Series build is made to order. We can spec custom paint, two-tone exteriors, observation deck builds, custom cabinetry, additional electrical, oversized winches, ladder racks, and other upgrades. Tell us what you have in mind and we’ll quote the build.
Can I add Velocity or Platinum features to a Qualifier build?
Many of them, yes. You can add a generator box, electric awning, SpiderMag wheels, toolbox, or other Velocity-tier features to a Qualifier base. Some upgrades — 7,000 lb axles, mini-split A/C, Caliber Protec floor — make more sense to order with the corresponding Velocity or Platinum package from the start. Tell us what features you want and we’ll spec the build at the right tier.
Do all three packages come with the .080 Polycore exterior?
Yes. Semi-Screwless .080 Polycore exterior is standard on every Qualifier, Velocity, and Platinum build. It’s the foundation of the Speedway Series — thicker premium aluminum skin that resists dents, hides panel waviness, and cleans up better than standard cargo trailer skins.
Do all three packages come with torsion spread axles?
Yes. Every Speedway Series build runs torsion spread axles — the Qualifier on 5,200 lb axles, the Velocity and Platinum on 7,000 lb axles. Dexter torsion axles are the industry standard for premium trailer suspensions, and spread axle geometry gives the smoother highway feel and the premium race trailer stance.
Can I add an observation deck to any Speedway Series build?
Observation decks need a reinforced walk-on roof package and a trailer long enough for the deck to be useful — typically 8.5×28 or 8.5×32. The Platinum is the most common pairing for observation deck builds because the trailer is already specced for hospitality, but the deck can be added to Velocity and Qualifier builds too. The roof reinforcement has to be specced at order time — it’s not a retrofit.
Can I finance any of the Speedway Series race trailers?
Yes. All three tiers — Qualifier, Velocity, Platinum — are eligible for financing through our lender network. We accept credit scores down to 500 with no prepayment penalties, and same-day funding is often available. We also offer a rent-to-own program with no credit check — just a valid driver’s license. Apply on our financing page.
Does Allstar deliver Speedway Series race trailers nationwide?
Yes. We deliver every Qualifier, Velocity, and Platinum build to all 48 contiguous states from our home base in Douglas, Georgia. Lead times vary by season and the complexity of the build. See our delivery page for state-by-state coverage.
How long does it take to build a Speedway Series race trailer?
Build times vary by season, tier, and any custom options. Qualifier builds tend to be the quickest because their feature set is more stocked; Velocity adds the generator box, awning, and additional electrical that take a bit more time; Platinum builds with mini-split A/C, finished interior, TV/radio, and full lighting package run longest. Most custom orders ship within a few weeks of being finalized — we’ll give you a current build estimate when you request a quote.
