The Qualifier Speedway Series by Allstar Cargo
Qualifier Series Race Trailers
Premium entry-level race trailer package built for racers stepping up from utility trailers into a real race-purpose-built rig. Semi-Screwless .080 Polycore, torsion spread axles, 7′ interior, 15K A/C, and the full race package — built right here in Douglas, GA.
The Allstar Qualifier Series is where racers step up from a basic enclosed cargo trailer into something purpose-built for the track. Every Qualifier build starts with the foundation that defines a real race trailer — a Semi-Screwless .080 Polycore exterior, spread torsion axles, a finished interior, a 15K A/C with wall thermostat, and the full race package — so you have everything you need to roll into the pits and run a weekend. It’s also the price-conscious entry into Allstar’s named race trailer lineup, with a clear upgrade path to the Velocity and Platinum series when you’re ready for more.
This page covers what’s included on every Qualifier build, the sizes available, who the Qualifier is for, and how it stacks up against the rest of the lineup. If you’d rather just talk through your build, our team in Douglas, GA is happy to walk you through it — call or email us or browse current racing trailer inventory.
Qualifier Series — Available Sizes
The Qualifier is built on an 8.5-wide chassis in three lengths. All sizes share the same feature set; you’re choosing for how much car, gear, and pit space you need.
- 8.5×24 Qualifier — the most popular Qualifier size. Real interior of roughly 8’2″ by 26 feet of usable floor (with V-nose). Comfortable fit for a race car, tire racks, cabinets, and a tool box.
- 8.5×28 Qualifier — same width with two more feet of floor. Room for finished cabinets, a small lounge area, or extra storage for a multi-driver weekend.
- 8.5×32 Qualifier — flagship Qualifier length. Maximum usable floor while still on the Qualifier package. Pair with a 1-ton tow vehicle.
Need help choosing between 24, 28, and 32 feet? Our race trailer size guide walks through what fits at each length, from drag cars and side-by-sides to full race team setups. Contact us for current pricing on the size and build you want.
Qualifier Exterior & Frame
The exterior is the first thing a race trailer says about a team in the pits. Every Qualifier ships with the premium finish package that sets a real race trailer apart from a budget enclosed cargo trailer.
- Semi-Screwless .080 Polycore Exterior — thicker premium aluminum skin with composite backing. Resists dents, hides panel waviness, and washes cleaner than standard .024 skins.
- Rear Spoiler with 12V Loading Lights — integrated loading lighting for pit setup at night.
- Corvette Fenders — matched to spread-axle stance for the premium race trailer look.
- 60″ Triple-Tube Tongue (TTT) — reinforced tongue with the length and rigidity for high-mileage towing.
- Electric Jack — set-and-forget hitch height adjustment.
Suspension & Axles
- 5,200 lb Torsion Spread Axles — the foundation of the Qualifier ride. Spread axle geometry gives the smoother highway feel and stable race trailer stance. Torsion suspension transfers less road vibration to the cargo than leaf springs do — important when the cargo is a race car.
- Electric brakes — wired the way most tow vehicles already are.
If you’re loading heavier or running a fully-built race trailer with cabinets, A/C, generator, and tools all year long, the Velocity step up to 7,000 lb axles gives you more headroom on GVWR. The Qualifier’s 5,200 lb axles are the right call for most single-car drag, asphalt, and dirt setups under the standard 9,990 lb GVWR.
Interior & Cargo Features
The Qualifier interior is built for working out of, not just hauling. You can load the car, secure it, and have the cabinet and door access to actually run a race weekend out of the trailer.
- 7′ Interior Height — stand-up headroom for working around the car. Clears most drag, asphalt circle, and dirt setups.
- Race Package — pre-wired and pre-fitted for race-specific cargo handling.
- Base Cabinet with Mousehole & Winch Plate — built into the front V-nose. The mousehole lets the winch cable pull the car forward into the cabinet for cleaner loading.
- White Metal Walls & Ceiling — finished interior look that brightens the working space and cleans up easily.
- (2) Rows of Floor E-Track — tie-down rails that match how race teams actually strap cars in.
- Escape Door — 60×78″ double side door so the driver of a parked race car can step out without backing the car off the trailer.
- Aluminum Holdbacks — premium-tier strap and chain mounting.
- RTP Ramp & Flap — rubber tread plate ramp surface, quieter and easier on tires than bare aluminum.
Climate, Power & Lighting
Race weekends mean A/C between rounds, lighting for pit setup, and shore power or generator for everything else. The Qualifier ships with a full electrical and climate package — you can plug in at the track and run.
- 15K A/C with Wall Mount Thermostat — keeps the working space comfortable in summer heat.
- Ceiling and Wall Insulation — pairs with the A/C for real climate control.
- Marine Batteries — for 12V circuits when shore power isn’t connected.
- 50 AMP Twistlock Cord — the upper-tier shore power inlet, ready for A/C plus accessories.
- (3) 110V Recepts — interior outlets for tools and accessories.
- (1) Exterior GFI — weatherproof exterior outlet for the pit.
- (3) 110V Flat Panel Lights — bright finished-interior ceiling lighting.
- (8) 12V LED Strip Lights — accent and workspace lighting throughout.
- LED Dual Taillights — clean rear lighting that matches the premium build.
Who the Qualifier Series Is For
The Qualifier is built for racers who are serious about their car but don’t need a fully-loaded hospitality rig. If any of these describe you, the Qualifier is probably your trailer:
- You’re stepping up from a basic enclosed cargo trailer into something built for race-purpose use.
- You haul one drag, asphalt circle, dirt, or sprint car and want a real workspace at the track.
- You’re a one- or two-bike motorcycle team that wants finished interior, A/C, and proper tie-downs.
- You tow with a 3/4-ton truck and don’t need the 7,000 lb axle uprate.
- You’d rather start with the essentials and add upgrades over time than buy every feature up front.
When to Step Up to Velocity or Platinum
The Qualifier covers the essentials of a premium race trailer. The Velocity Series adds 7,000 lb torsion spread axles, 7′6″ interior height, SpiderMag wheels, a generator box on the tongue, an electric awning, a 5,000 lb winch, a toolbox, bogey wheels, and the rest of the premium-spec package — the right step up for racers who want the full race-weekend setup. The Platinum Series is the flagship: mini-split A/C, recessed winch, finished interior with TV and radio, motion lighting, Caliber Protec floor, and every premium upgrade Allstar offers.

Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between the Qualifier and Velocity series?
The Qualifier is Allstar’s entry-level premium race trailer; the Velocity is the mid-tier step up. Velocity adds 7,000 lb torsion spread axles (vs 5,200 lb), 7′6″ interior height (vs 7′), SpiderMag wheels, a generator box on the tongue, an electric awning, a 5,000 lb winch, a toolbox, bogey wheels, a recessed tire compartment, double spring assist, and the full premium-spec package. Both share the .080 Polycore exterior, race package, escape door, 15K A/C, and finished interior.
What sizes does the Qualifier come in?
The Qualifier is built in three lengths on the 8.5-wide chassis: 8.5×24, 8.5×28, and 8.5×32. Real interior width is roughly 8’2″ across all three. The 8.5×24 is the most popular size and the one most one-car teams pick.
What is .080 Polycore exterior?
.080 Polycore is a thicker premium exterior aluminum skin with a composite core, .080 inches thick — heavier and more rigid than the standard .024 or .030 aluminum on most cargo trailers. It dents less, doesn’t show panel waviness, and washes up cleaner. Every Qualifier ships with the Semi-Screwless .080 Polycore exterior as standard.
Are 5,200 lb torsion spread axles enough for a race trailer?
For most one-car drag, asphalt circle, dirt, or motorcycle setups, yes. Tandem 5,200 lb Dexter torsion spread axles give you a 9,990 lb GVWR, which covers an 8.5×24 race trailer with the standard race package and a typical race car or two motorcycles. If you’re loading heavier — full pit gear, cabinets, generator, tools, and a heavy race build — step up to the Velocity’s 7,000 lb axles for 14,000 lb GVWR.
Does the Qualifier come with A/C?
Yes — every Qualifier ships with a 15K rooftop A/C with a wall-mount thermostat as standard, plus ceiling and wall insulation. The Platinum upgrade swaps the 15K rooftop for a mini-split A/C, which is quieter and more efficient for race weekends spent inside the trailer.
What’s an escape door on a race trailer?
An escape door is an oversized side door (60″×78″) positioned so the driver of a parked race car can open the car door and step out without backing the car off the trailer. It’s standard on every Qualifier, Velocity, and Platinum build — race trailers without escape doors are a hassle to live with.
Can I add Velocity or Platinum features to my Qualifier?
Many of them, yes. We can spec a Qualifier with a generator box, an electric awning, SpiderMag wheels, a toolbox, or other Velocity-tier features as upgrades to the base Qualifier package. Some things — like 7,000 lb axles or mini-split A/C — make more sense to order with the corresponding Velocity or Platinum build from the start. Tell us what you want included and we’ll spec the build accordingly.
Can I finance a Qualifier race trailer?
Yes. Allstar works with multiple lenders and accepts credit scores down to 500 with no prepayment penalties. Same-day funding is often available. We also offer a rent-to-own program with no credit check — just a valid driver’s license. Apply through our financing page and our team will match you with the best option.
Does Allstar deliver Qualifier race trailers nationwide?
Yes. We deliver Qualifier, Velocity, and Platinum race trailers — along with all our enclosed cargo, motorcycle, and concession trailers — to all 48 contiguous states from our home base in Douglas, Georgia. See our delivery page for state-by-state coverage.
How long does it take to build a custom Qualifier?
Build times vary by season and any custom upgrades you spec, but most Qualifier orders ship within a few weeks of being finalized. The base Qualifier package is fastest to build because the components are stocked; custom paint, two-tone exterior, or Velocity-tier upgrades add some time. We’ll give you a current build estimate when you request a quote.
